Universal Design ArchitectureSpiral staircases and high countertops may work for some, but those design elements may not provide accessibility to everyone.

An often overlooked element in architecture is universal design, also known as "barrier-free" or "accessible" design. Archaeon has designed multiple projects for people with disabilities including the addition of elevators, ramps, wider hallways, special systems and equipment. But, universal design is more generally about making a space accessible to all who enter it - disabled or not. Archaeon is experienced at incorporating these special needs into beautiful living and working environments.
